I was going to add "why Isshin's so nice to the Nobodies in camp" but then I realized that it's not really essay-worthy: he just thinks it would be hypocritical to treat them as something monstrous when he treats his own son as human.

I woke up this morning with the back of my throat feeling dry as the desert and the dreaded yellow snot occupying my nose, both sure indicators that I've caught the cold Mom was suffering from recently. I might be able to comment-ninja a bit, but generally I'm going to be scarce for the next few days while I work on recovering to the point where thoughts in my head move faster than lukewarm molasses*. Sorry Daddy didn't get to traumatize everyone by prancing around in a kilt yesterday, too, I wasted the night trying to figure out if last-minute St. Patrick's Day road trip plans were still going to work or not. :(

*I can at least think faster than cold molasses, or this whole part wouldn't even be here.

Oh, that's right! Before I forget, if you didn't catch it in the comments of my previous post, anyone who's actual family to or considered family by anyone officially invited to the Kurosaki Family Barbecue is also more than welcome to attend. If you're on the list and can't make it to the post, Daddy will make sure someone brings you leftovers. :)
